GIF signs LoI for future cooperation with Office of the State of North-Rhine-Westfalia
On occasion of the NRW Networking Convention for Partners and Friends in Tel Aviv on 15 March, 2022, GIF Director Dr. Eric Zimmerman and Dr. Gil Yaron, Director of the Office of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Israel, signed a Letter of Intent for a joint series of meetings for early career scientists to be co-funded by GIF and the NRW State Office in Israel.
The meetings, following the successful model of the GIF Young Scientists’ Meetings (GYSM), will bring together researchers in the early stages of their career from academic institutions in North Rhine Westfalia and Israel, to give them the opportunity to establish first contacts for future scientific cooperation and continued friendship between the scientific communities in both countries. A first meeting is planned to take place in late 2022.
