GIF Young Scientists' Meetings (GYSM)
The GIF Young Scientists’ Meetings (GYSM) offer a platform for early career scientists from both countries who are taking their first steps in academia to meet, become acquainted with each other’s work, learn about funding opportunities, and receive the chance to discuss their ideas with established scientists in their field of research.
Read MoreFor each GYSM a Scientific Advisory Committee is established consisting of established scientists from both countries. The typical 2-3 day meetings are open to a maximum of 20 participants in equal numbers from Israel and Germany. The meeting may be held in either Israel and Germany.
There are two tracks for the GYSM, the ones which are initiated by GIF and those which are initiated by scientists.
