GIF signs Memorandum of Understanding with the German U15
On occasion of the HUJI-FUB Digital Humanities Winter School in Jerusalem on 27 February, 2023, GIF Director Dr. Eric Zimmerman and Prof. Michael Hoch, Rector of University of Bonn and Acting Chair of the German U15, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a joint series of meetings for early career scientists to be co-funded by GIF and the German U15.
The German U15 represents 15 leading research-intensive universities. Their universities are among the most academically distinguished and internationally renowned institutions of the German science system. The meetings, will bring together researchers in the early stages of their career from academic institutions in Israel and Germany, give them the opportunity to establish first contacts for future scientific cooperation and complement the ongoing friendship between the scientific communitiy in both countries.
