Breaking Barriers: Bridging Science, Business, and Politics
On this evening (Thursday, July 4th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m), we aim to overcome borders and leap over barriers together. Drawing from the experience of our friends, we will explore successful structures and processes in science and research in Israel. How does Israel manage to achieve such high transfer performance in these areas, reaching and inspiring all citizens? Associated synergies have positive effects on economic, ecological, political, and societal realms. Ultimately, all participants benefit. The event provides insights into Israel’s performance in these areas and the learning opportunities for Germany, as well as how Germany manages its transfer performance.
The panel will include the following participants:
- Axel Koch , Chairman of the TransferAllianz, the German Association for Knowledge and Technology Transfer
- Carsten Ovens , CEO of the European Leadership Network (ELNET)
- Karin Prien , Minister of Science of the State of Schleswig-Holstein
- Dr. Eric Zimmerman , Director German Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research & Development
Moderation: Dr. Susanne Czech
